By 2016, CEO David Carter had taken Austral Fisheries to be the first and, to this day, the only commercial fishing company in the world to be certified Carbon Neutral. Austral Fisheries has signed up to zero-carbon 30's Commitments and is the first company to receive an AAA Carbon Rating from zero-carbon 2030.
