Austral Fisheries are proud to share that our up-and-coming Northern Prawn Fleet Operations Manager, Bryan Van Wyk, has joined Picture You In Agriculture's National Program as a 'Young Farming Champion.'
Bryan is the first to join the program as a representative of the fishing industry. He has a genuine passion for the marine environment which he pursues through both his work with Austral Fisheries and in his free time; whether it's fishing or diving. Regardless of the activity; be it commercial or recreational fishing, sustainability and the future of our oceans are always at the forefront of Bryan's mind.
"I would also like to empower others around me to think about the bigger picture and work collectively to tackle common threats such as climate change, pollution, bycatch and water development," said Bryan.
